A Stunning Summer Garden Wedding

Nessa and Tyrone wed in a heartfelt wedding ceremony at a private property in Indooroopilly. The property was styled with vibrant cheerful colours and large cushions which created the perfect vibe for relaxed and social celebrations.

As it was a hot summers day, the ceremony took place amongst the shade of a large mango tree, decorated with hanging glass bottles with brightly coloured flowers.

Two excited flower girls led the bride down the aisle to her beaming groom, where they held hands and locked eyes as their ceremony commenced.

Their garden ceremony was meaningful and heartfelt and the couple shared some of the funniest vows I’ve ever heard, before exchanging rings and sealing the deal with their first kiss as husband and wife.

After Carolyn Huygn Photography captured some great shots of the newlyweds around the property, the happy couple then joined their guests at a long table on the deck for delicious food, drinks and an evening of celebrating!

A Relaxed & Modern State Library of QLD Wedding

I just love it when couples do their wedding their way, for couples like Christine and Ed that meant putting tradition aside and creating a day that could enjoy every moment of together.

Their black tie wedding ceremony and reception took place at the grand State Library of QLD in South Brisbane. The couples modern wedding commenced with both the bride and groom welcoming the guests as they arrived, which really set the tone for the relaxed vibe.

The couple opted not to have a bridal party, and Christine decided not to have a wedding bouquet as she simply didn’t feel the need to have one. They did however have Francescas Flowers install a dramatic hanging Monstera cheese plant leaf display and the greenery worked perfectly with the high ceilings of the Terrace Room.

When the ceremony time arrived, the guests were seated and the bride and groom, holding hands took a relaxed stroll down the aisle together before turning to face each other as the ceremony commenced.

The lovely couple couldn’t take their eyes off each other as they enjoyed their short, sweet and authentic ceremony. They could barely contain their excitement when I pronounced them husband and wife!

The happy newlyweds kindly left a 5 star review on Brisbane City Celebrants Facebook Page stating “Thank you Cara for being our Celebrant, everything was wonderful!”

Hannah and Luke created the ultimate relaxed and enjoyable day for their Newstead Park Riverview wedding.

The couple thoughtfully arranged chilled drinks for guests to enjoy from the moment they arrived which was a huge hit and encouraged the mingling of guests while setting the perfect tone for their relaxed enjoyable wedding day.

Hannah and Luke had the dynamic duo from Lyndal Carmichael Photography capture their ‘location’ photos, before the ceremony took place, which meant they could stay and celebrate with their guests after the ceremony. The also meant they could both be there to greet guests as they arrived.

This Brisbane Golf Club wedding ceremony was such a special wedding to be the Celebrant for. The happy couple have so much love for their sweet little boy and it’s so easy to see why, not only is he the cutest little thing, but his excitement and energy on the day was through the roof.

I love how the beautiful bride had so much fun including him in the getting ready photos (playing peek-a boo beneath her gown) and how he enthusiastically sprinted down the aisle faster than his little legs could carry him with the ring cushion, thankfully those rings were firmly tied to the ring cushion.

While most of the weddings I perform are in the Brisbane area, however from time to time Brisbane based couples invite me to officiate their wedding ceremonies at the Gold Coast, like this wedding at the RACV Royal Pines Resort which was captured by the lovely Prue Franzmann Photography.

The resort is just 12km from the Gold Coasts famous beaches and has its very own wedding chapel with stain glass windows and Italian marble flooring, it seats up to 100 guests. As you will see from these happy newlyweds photos the gardens offer endless photo opportunities so you don’t even need to leave the resort for your location photos.

We love that the happy couple invited their Grandmothers to be their official witnesses and join them in signing the marriage certificates, creating treasured memories. It was so sweet to see Grandma signing after the groom gently escorted her from and back to her seat.
